The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 一部很有设计感的电影，将虚与实镶嵌起来呈现。一面是，一个编导去记录，生活在不同社会环境和家庭氛围中的未成年人的想法的过程；另一面是，一个叔叔和他年仅9岁的侄儿，如何从巨大的年龄差异中，摸索出共通的人生脉络的经历。
适合当爹妈的看，不适合巨婴看……孩子们都没有成年人想的简单
中文名叫呼朋引伴。在雨天看完，朋友就来家里，晚上和朋友们在地板跳舞，听她们的故事。纵然地球有很多令人内心泛滥的潮湿，可我依旧对这里是沉迷的。
介于纪录片和故事片中的表达方式，衔接很自然，也很容易带动观众进去。

太细腻了. 太喜欢了. 拿捏的真好. Felix和小男孩演的真好. 女主演的也挺好的.
黑白色彩看的人很难受，这种题材彩色会更好看，没必要为了文艺选择黑白。

好好看的“对话式”电影。黑白的纽约，好美好美。戏中那些反反复复的采访，同样的问题，那么多的回答，我看到了“希望”。这些孩子，他们想的好深刻。小男孩虽然不幸，但他好幸福，他的情感，小情绪，都有人重视。
