The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 主旋律电影依旧情感在线！可最后的7连士兵离谱的各种死不掉，属实有点狗血了。也许为了留这么一句话：7连应到xx人，实到1人。
万里嘶哑而坚定的嗓音喊出了七连战士们的不悔意志 人在 战斗就在 又让我想起了士兵突击里面的钢七连许三多 还有九连 全都没了 看到一个个战士看着祖国的方向说着新中国万岁 一个又一个战士冲向死亡的决绝一个个战士用自己的身躯保护着战友 一次又一次的努力完成任务…不知道有多少无名的先辈将自己永远留在那里 但是没有他们 哪有我们现在祖国的强大！
太乱了。没重点没节奏。照《狙击手》差距太大了。
（华夏影城长沙龙湾商业广场店）陪长辈去影院看完了这部电影，第一感觉就是真的太长了，电影叙事大逻辑含糊，很拖拉。说实在的，剧情、画面、演员的演技特效都可以，就真的是太拖拉了。原本以为结束了，又整一个小高潮，高潮完了想着终于要结束了吧，md又来一个刺点，转折太多都有点看腻了。另外最后是哪位大佬把三位指导导的戏合在一起的？敢情是谁也不想得罪么，电影结尾就是三位导演的三段结尾生接在一起，甚至看风格就知道哪一段结局是哪一位大佬的风格。最后一段结局结束的时候的结尾音乐也是很硬，和画面不相融。整体来看，从画面、演技来看，给电影四星，剧情拖拉扣一星，综合三星。
比第一部好看太多了，有点费纸，特别好的意思就是

对徐克战争片的印象是《智取威虎山》，那时刚大学毕业半年，在北京的几个同学相约去电影院看的3D版，很精彩，看得热血沸腾，直到结尾都没认出梁家辉。但这部丝毫看不出徐克风格，剧情和主题都始终在过时了的主旋律上徘徊，和上世纪50年代的影片相比大概只是技术上进步了，但当我看到编剧是兰晓龙时还是震惊的。如果非要选一个演技最出色的，或许可以是四字弟弟，因为除了他和吴京，其他角色都没有太多发挥空间，而吴京始终停留在武打明星的阶段。
跟第一部一样精彩，全程没有尿点，战争场面拍的很好。
大家不要苛求逻辑与合理性了吧？我相信那种时刻真的每个人都会舍生忘死，以命相博，也为如今的幸福生活感到无比感恩。
为了永远长眠在朝鲜的战士们！新中国万岁！这两理由就值得打5分！演员感情都演得非常充沛
最后的主角光环，和炸桥方式不适合这样的片子。其他都还好。先辈用生命换来的和平，让我们才可以在这上网，看电影，平静的生活。可依然有些人被洗脑式的以反战为名在反对这场伟大的保家卫国战争。人民英雄永垂不朽！中国人民志愿军永垂不朽！
还行吧宏大的战争场面，几次炸桥最终还是失败了，最后的最后当伍万里成为最后的七连，国家又多了个成熟的军人，老两口又失去一个儿子，无数的家庭失去亲人，只因为这场必须打的仗，和平来之不易。
伦敦观影。3.5分，镜头有些过于血腥，人物稍显脸谱化，情节有些单薄
论争场面实国产电影大决战拍的也很棒！水门桥拍的太徐克了！弱化了抗美援朝真正伟大的地方！加一星给主题
比上一部而言，战斗场面更宏达了，作为一部战争题材的电影，所表现出来的战斗细节不很到位的，唯一的缺点可能就是美军的战斗力偏弱了。

有几处确实有戳到泪点，战争片必然的。

一边看一边情绪七上八下，一开始易烊千玺我都没看到，然后朋友说刚才易烊千玺扔了两个手榴弹。。。比第一部情感递进少，可战斗很精彩啊。就是人物太多了，一些配角我都记不住谁是谁就死了。
有个观众说，看完《水门桥》后认为中国一定要搞好工业。我都觉得这是个好主题。可惜这部片子也不能往这里拍。
