The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 巜老亨利》是传统复古的西部片。剧中的老亨利年轻时曾是职业杀手，中年后与儿子小亨利隐居乡间养猪为生。在与一群枪劫追钱的匪徒枪战中死在了匪徒枪下。

这部比卷福那部西部片强，经典叙事，经典的电影母题，剧作推进的很可以，这才是合格的通俗文化的电影类型片。这才是正儿八经的西部片（结尾收的有点差），卷福那什么玩意。

西部片就是美国人的武侠片。一个金盆洗手的江湖高手，却不料再次卷入江湖仇杀当中。这样的剧情是不是就熟悉多了。从西部片横向比较其实比较普通，胜在干净利落味道纯正。
场景还可以。没什么情节起伏，就两场枪战。儿子的叛逆成长。跳着看了看。
Billy the old man no country to rest
好多影迷说是传统硬核西部片，但这明明是老无所依式的西部哀歌。当然，导演希望比利小子后继有人，而传统西部片能再现辉煌。
西部片给人的感觉总是混乱而又暴力，真怀疑当时人们怎么活下来的。正如老亨利，即便归隐又怎能逃得过这样的西部世界，混乱终有终结，希望正在路上，一如儿子远去的背影。
