Arkham, 1975: Jonathan Davis' father has disappeared. His tracks lead to Germany, to the Swabian-Franconian Forest where he was stationed after the Second World War. brutashell review - 'Filmed in black and white and primarily spoken in German, it is obvious that Die Farbe did not have a huge budget to work with. Effects are minimal and the cast is utterly unknown. I should point out that these are all good things, and work very much in the film's favour. There is no CGI to rely on, no name actors to carry it. Rather, the filmmakers do the unthinkable: they create a genuine atmosphere of unimaginable dread and unspeakable horror, using shadow, suggestion and rare splashes of that Nameless colour in a few select frames. In short, they did a damn good job. Die Farbe is subtle in its mounting horror, nurturing a dark dread deep in your bowels with every shot. All of the best and most stomach-turningly distressing films I’ve ever seen have come out of Germany: M, The Cabinet Of Dr. Caligari, The White Ribbon, and now this one. Leave it to the Germans. We know how to gross you out on the deepest psychological levels.
Lovecraft worshippers and devotees of German Expressionism alike, take heed: seek out and view this film at your earliest possible convenience. It’s a dark, noisome little gem that will squirm into your subconscious and lay its eggs in your sanity. Hey, not everyone gets the honour of being a host organism for the Elder Gods, you know.'

内脏暴露狂，额。令人难以理解的审丑艺术。
7星，去掉性感的概念底子里是现实主义，手法大于内容。实践理论而非解构和讨论。不过柯南伯格能让小K把长久以来的表演缺陷发挥到极致形成一种人物风格，挺厉害的哈哈哈哈。
走向未来？想多了，脑壳给你开两个洞
柯南伯格呓语似的探讨。未来是属于科幻的，科幻是属于想象力的。
啊这，没料到小K新电影艺术到这种程度。人格构建经常看到，肉体构建倒是很少看，然而肉体构建最终还是要走向人格构建。让我扩充下知识量再来看第二遍。
很怪异但是还是不够怪异。
误以为是退回到感官世界、变蝇人的柯南伯格，结果依然是body horror包裹下的星图或大都会。只是不再以视角/突发事件作为切割，语义更加统一。对话不停的为行为充当注解，屏幕内外发生的是同样的事—权利的垄断或是思维的垄断。纹身是器官进化的障眼法，body horror是柯南伯格的障眼法。那些关乎未来的事，终究没有答案。
梦感。寓言感。没有“世界”。性的焦虑；创作的焦虑；表演的焦虑。生育的焦虑；增殖的焦虑；进化的焦虑。进食的焦虑；疼痛的焦虑。最后一镜的Viggo，无神的眼，一滴泪，蒙难的贞德。“Not good at the old sex”又何尝不是一种自反，如今neo-sex也成了old sex。视听有锐利的胶稠质地，挥之不去的蕾雅·赛杜和Howard Shore。
@@完全不能理解柯南伯格对肉体的迷恋。最后吃塑料真是拯救了世界。
这样的艺术何尝不是另外一种会被批判的艺术，也许这种艺术对现在的人类来说还为时尚早吧。这样的片子看一遍都是痛苦和煎熬，完全没兴趣去细细品味。
说是科幻，道具布景却很简陋。不仅成本低，剧情也有点莫名其妙。
关于性的快感与痛感的另一种解释，利用痛感的刺激来达到颅内高潮的行为艺术确实猎奇，但却缺乏灵与肉的碰撞之美，没有很惊世骇俗。相对来说，我会更喜欢《钛》的病态美。
演员的演技倒是不差，但是这个剧本这个摄制这些个道具，及其呈现出来的恶心的东西，我认为只有恶趣味才能喜欢
疼痛与欢愉的两面，行为艺术之“掏心掏肺给你看”，看完感觉脑子被解剖了一遍…
提出对进化的质疑，“某种程度上人类也在退化”。这观点挺有意思。
高概念的艺术呈现，蕴含了太多的隐喻，也可以有很多种解读。关于进化，关于创作，关于欲望… 柯南伯格真的很会玩~ Viggo和Lea的表现力绝了。
4k hdr，感觉这色调对设备要求比较高。除了斯图尔特比较尬以外都还行
