The story appears simple on the surface, but is revealed, especially after multiple viewings, as more multi-layered and textured than Cassavetes at his best. Ostensibly it concerns a 14-year old Catholic girl, Wynne (Agutter) growing up in this post-modern wasteland, who develops a crush on her much older adoptive brother (Marshall)- a crush which perversely deepens and grows into infatuation once she starts to believe he is the local sex killer. This is in itself an idea that makes you sit up and jolt, but as the narrative develops, it continues not necessarily along a linear path but in several confusing and fascinating directions: the family's history, (detailed effectively in chilling flashback during an improvised seance) is a chequered one, and has suffered at least one major relocation and upheaval in the last ten years. At the crux, however, it's the depiction of socialal changes that make I Start Counting so fascinating and elevate its language far beyond the confines of the standard horror film. The major subtext- that teenage girls were maturing more quickly than before, and developing full sexual and romantic appetites (even if in thought rather than deed) but were not possessed of enough discretion to make the right choices- was a step forward for a genre in which its young females had previously been portrayed as bimbo victims (Cover Girl Killer and The Night Caller spring to mind), but not one that all viewers would necessarily agree with. But most striking of all, and possibly the most enduring image which the viewer will take away with them, is of the masterful symbolism with which director Greene invests every shot. Every inch of the Kinch family's world- their house, their walls, their TV, Agutters underwear, bedroom furniture and toys, Sutcliffe's clothes, Marshalls van, the local Catholic church, their town centre, their record shop) - is painted a bright, scintillating white- a white which, by inference, is slowly becoming smudged and corrupted with the dirt of the outside world. White also symbolises, of course, purity and innocence (two qualities Catholic schoolgirls are supposed to hold dear), and it is into this world of innocence that the ever-present red bus (a symbol of violation and penetration), conducted by the lecherous yet similarly juvenile Simon Ward, makes regular journeys. The allegory is further expanded in one scene where Agutter believes she sees the Christ figure in church weeping blood: by the time we acknowledge it, its gone, but the seed has already been planted. Rarely in a genre production has the use of colour and background been so important or effective in creating a uniformity of mood. I Start Counting is as near-perfect an end to a decade as one could hope for, and exactly the kind of film people should be making now- which is, of course, exactly why they never will. 如果做蜘蛛侠拯救那么多人都无法让他的遗憾得到丝毫的填充，接住了另一个人的MJ凭什么可以呢？
看到托比出现的一瞬间哭了，疲倦、平静、衰老的面孔，童年记忆里的超级英雄，终于变成了中年人。依然清楚记得当年在亲戚家里看蜘蛛侠的情形，而那位伯父已经逝世多年。所以可怕的事情终于发生在了我身上：我也到了怀旧的年纪。回到片子本身，其实依然是妇联式的创作逻辑，只是这一次被剥削的不是漫威的系列英雄作品，而是那些原本并不属于漫威、甚至被漫威取而代之的蜘蛛侠电影（它们象征着一种旧的超级英雄片逻辑，因漫威的兴起而宣告死亡）。集结老去的英雄、治愈混乱的坏蛋，所有这些构想都非常美好。唯一问题在于，这样做完全牺牲了剧作逻辑和新英雄的人格。小蜘蛛和奇异博士，甚至不能说是工具人，而是站在了本作核心魅力的反面。所以曾象征着革新的漫威，也终于站在了自己的反面。省流版吐槽，#一个考大学引发的血案

三代同框,诚意之作!不得不佩服好莱坞电影工业如行云流水般丝滑!
一个Spider-Boy成长为Spider-Man的故事。正片惊喜连连，预测票房是今年的全球电影冠军（内地不能同步上映没关系，大家就当作是因为防疫要求，电影院暂时关闭吧）等蓝光发行和上架流媒体，再细品也是一件很好的事
奇异博士也居然配合降智，在镜世界里打不过小蜘蛛，这就很扯。
很难想象索尼能把三代同框这样的王炸打烂成这样。如果说奇异博士打开了多元宇宙，那惩罚他的方式就是能力全面降维化？看了荷兰弟现实版的傻傻言论，就挺纳闷他为啥本色出演都做不好。果然漫威是不可能让毒液蹭小蜘蛛的流量的，又给丫的传送回去了。唯一让我眼前一亮的就是夜魔侠回归了，而且是和mcu同宇宙。

索尼摆出了一副以后不拍蜘蛛侠了的架势 让大家忘记众神 灭霸和妇联回归friendly neighborhood 蜘蛛人 我也希望能这样 不过我是想象不出这样的未来 回不去了 尤其是拍了这么一部支离破碎的电影 一茬一茬都是片段 抓着哪个都能发挥一下 结果哪个都几笔带过 感觉在看抖音合集 带解说和上下粗体字幕那种感觉
三个臭皮匠顶一个诸葛亮，三个蜘蛛侠顶一个复仇者联盟。
呃…价值观属实难以接受。受不了熊孩子以及奇异博士人设崩塌。我果然不太喜欢蜘蛛侠。
4.5星给的不是三虫同框，而是给同框之后把蜘蛛侠串联成8部曲的意义，是对这一类型片20年来发展的总结，是圣母左胶抢夺美国价值观的制高点的尝试，是对社会变迁的记录，是用最商业的方式去做反类型片的举动。00年来，超英片有4个节点，DK，复联1，美队2，黑豹，蜘蛛8部曲基本分布在每个节点前后：TMc三部曲尝试解构主角和用反派对应主角的成长，却被DK大成；AG二部曲对复联的构建宇宙亦步亦趋；美队2的其他类型片套拍经验坑了返校日；黑豹的政治讨论启发让这部片垂史。5反派同框代表了不同阶层的美国反动势力，他们的结局是圣母提出的解决方案，首先排除剥夺其生命的选项，被煽动的乌合之众（沙人）和长期被欺凌只懂暴力语言的低端蓝领（电光人）被缴了械，白人至上/社达（蜥蜴人）被贬为他们所鄙夷的对象...（广播继续）
虽然非常失望 但还是要可惜一下 如果能在影院看该多爽 不论傻逼剧情 三虫同框插科打诨合作打怪 还是要和影迷们一起看才有意义呀（荷兰虫 你不作死 你的梅姨也不会死 She really died for nothing)
我是没法跟荷兰弟共情了，这个撒批熊孩子还是死远一点的好，然后就是消费前两代的情怀了，真不如回去再看一遍前两版

这是拍了个真人版的spider-verse吧。但想象力和好看度，差了不是一点半点。自由女神像上面三代蜘蛛侠的chit-chat是全片最亮点了，互cue各自宇宙的槽点，譬如“你的蛛丝还能从其他地方喷出来吗”，又比如最lame的系列可不lame哦，cause you‘re AMAZING。就这几分钟，不能更多。

为情怀多加1星。漫威真的是要江郎才尽了吗？一部电影里面不来点怀旧元素都不会讲故事了。“能力越大，责任越大”在片中看起来非但不像警句，更像一个诅咒。新三部曲几乎每一部都在用Pete从鲁莽到成熟的叙事，结果就是他压根儿没能真正成长。总是不合时宜地承担过多本不属于自己的责任，看似在对除自己之外的所有人负责，实则在埋下更多的隐患。本片中所谓的“治疗”，也仅仅限于“剥夺”超能力，让反派恢复凡人之躯，但当他们回到各自世界时，依然需要对自己曾经的过往错误负责，仅仅身体上的疗愈是否让他们在心理上也做好了准备呢？前两代蜘蛛侠现身无疑卖点十足，三人的对话虽不时尴尬，但也包袱频出，只是搭配这样一个剧情，着实有点大材小用。以及，片尾彩蛋诚意不足，分明就是电影预告片，不知这是否也意味着蜘蛛侠的故事告一段落？
澳门的IMAX没白费～不过看着看着发现之前的剧情已经全部忘光了～
