The Freebie centers on Darren (Shepard) and Annie (Aselton), a young married couple with an enviable relationship built on love trust and communication. 3,5 风格与15年《麦克白》有异曲同工之妙（甚至可以怀疑参考了最后的duel）至始至终都没脱离莎翁式复仇悲剧的框架，但电影从后半部分愈来愈失控，朝着外放与疯癫的方向散发，任由血腥暴力扩张。
看的时候其实我一直在思考这个镜头是怎么拍出来的或者这个化妆好逼真
三星半。第三幕与结尾的平淡摧毁了观众的观影期待。创意概念和视觉奇观还是蛮柯南伯格的。舞台剧的场景表演有种似有似无的形式感，使得演员都较好的抓住了表演状态。但特意的去深刻解读这类片子会比较心累。
